Trials to Triumphs
What is Trials to Triumphs all about. It is an easy access conference calling line set up on a weekly to bi-weekly basis hosted by Karen Shoemaker and co-hosted by Karen Robinson. The conference call line is 605-472-5337 and access key is 119379. Azucena Fragoso will be a periodic host as well. Azucena, also known as Suzie, is fluent in Spanish, English and Quechua. Trials to Triumph was created as a means for women to help women through their own stories which began with a trial and slowly turned into a triumph by the ladies experiencing them.
Most individuals learn through experience and no other way. Most women have been hurt or abused by the men in their lives. Many women have been cheated on or lied to by the man in their life. Why? What is it that makes women so antagonistic to each other? Always in competition with each other?
It goes way back in history. From the date of the cave man to modern times, male viewpoint of women has not really changed that much. In the cave man days, men were considered the hunters while women were gatherers, collecting herbs, children, and families, together in an attempt to build community and survival capabilities. Men were out for the hunt in order to feed the community. He took what woman he wanted in order to propagate the species in order to survive. Fatherhood or parenthood was not important until later in life when royalty and families looked down upon bastard births as a bastard only proved the broken lineage of the family line. Cave men didn't care about bloodline but did care about body count. More bodies in the brood, more opportunity to survive.
Abuse began early in man's history. Women being looked upon as second class or having no class at all were always the first bartered, traded or killed in order to prevent death occurring needlessly. They were sold and bartered in order to obtain money to buy goods. Love didn't matter. Faithfulness didn't matter. So a feeling of being needed didn't matter unless the clan or group had something to gain important to survival.
Modern man is presently at war with himself. He believes in a spiritual right to life. Spirituality to these type of individuals include and is made up of polyamorous affairs,which they seemed to believe frees up their spiritual love for their temporary mate by not "entrapping" them in love. But this type of belief also allows them to disengage in ethical value, commitment of any kind, and choosing just one partner.
So, trials to triumphs is designed to bring on different coaches to help assist women in accepting themselves for who they are and to assist them in letting go of past, abusive partnering experiences which have only left them with a lot of unanswered uestions which gives them the new names of "cunt, bitch, whore, etc.' But in trials to triumphs a woman in seen as none of that. They are helped to see their own inner strength and multi-tasking ability as something special which makes them strong.
Guests will include both male and female doctors who specialize in a multitude of principals be it tai-chi, accupuncture, vitamin nd stem cell therapies, mental health, holistic beliefs, stone and crystal healing, Reiki healing, and many others. Every week one woman's phone number will be picked whereby that woman will be able to share her story (if she wants to) and be assisted by doctors and experiential persons who have "walked their walk" as well.
